Sadie is a one year old Maltese mix female who was brought to a shelter in Sacramento with a fractured pelvis. She needs about 4 weeks of rest for the pelvis to heal . Sadie is very gentle, quiet, affectionate and adorable! She needs to be spayed and other than the pelvic fracture, she appears very healthy. This little cutie will have a long line of adopters wanting her as she is snuggly and sweet! Sadie is now in a CAPE foster home. She is rehabilitating in a cozy environment with a loving foster guardian. The socialization and love that she is receiving on a daily basis will help her restore health, build trust, and transition into adoption easily. Just a few more weeks of rest and Sadie is ready for her forever! We want to thank our generous foster families and community of supporters! We also want to thank our incredible rescue partner CWOB, for always being so willing to help when CAPE rescue animals need a safe place to land. Wilma was found as a stray in Santa Cruz. At the shelter, the staff could clearly see that she was suffering from a terrible skin condition. Wilma was itchy all over! This sweet dog was not ready for adoption, so CAPE placed Wilma into a loving foster home. She is currently being treated for her skin allergies and already is zooming around the house, bowing to play with the other dogs, and showing her silly side. Wilma is a possibly a Welsh Terrier and is on the younger side. She still needs to be spayed which will happen soon after an upcoming veterinary check-up. If you are interested in adopting Wilma, please fill out a CAPE dog adoption application. |
