Center for Animal Protection & Education rescues animals who have special needs. Most of the animals who we take into our programs require medical care, surgery, or ongoing treatment.
Blindness, cleft palate, deformed hooves, starvation, old age, fractured bones, rotten teeth and chronic disease are just some of the examples of the health challenges that CAPE’s rescued animals have faced. CAPE provides animals in our care with the highest quality medical care. Our Assisted Living Program, and Animal Sanctuary provide lifetime care, which is often very costly. |
“"Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way."
~ Martin Luther King, Jr
