CAPE rescues animals who have special needs. Most of the animals who we take into our programs require medical care, surgery, or ongoing treatment.
Blindness, cleft palate, deformed hooves, starvation, old age, fractured bones, rotten teeth and chronic disease arejust some of the examples of the health challenges that CAPE’s rescued animals have faced. CAPE provides animals in our care with the highest quality medical care. Our Assisted Living Program, and animal sanctuary provide lifetime care, which is often very costly.
Since 1992, CAPE has rescued more than 2,200 animals - most who required medical care, surgery, and long time in-home foster care.
Thank you for supporting CAPE's Animal Medical Fund. Your support will help us provide the very best care for the animals in our programs.
“Until we extend our circle of compassion to all living things, humanity will not find peace." ~Dr. Albert Schweitzer
