Muttopia is a safe space for homeless dogs who have been rescued from impoverished communities in the US and Mexico or from overcrowded shelters in California. At Muttopia dogs are given the time, veterinary care, and the love they need to thrive before going up for adoption. Lisa Landey was a lifelong advocate for dogs. Her generous bequest to CAPE made Muttopia possible. CAPE gifted a portion of the bequest to Compassion Without Borders (CWOB) to purchase the facility so that both organizations would have a shared safe space to rescue, rehabilitate, and save the lives of rescued dogs.
