A Dream Come True! Years ago, having an onsite education center was one of our long-range goals. Thanks to the incredibly generous donation from long-term supporters Meg Honan and Lauren Meyers, and a grant from Ollie of the Weidner Foundation, our dream has become a reality. CAPE’s new animal education center will be a place for lectures, films, books, a meeting place for animal activists, and much more! Huge thanks to Meg & Lauren and Ollie for helping CAPE create this very important space.
Thanks to the generous gift from Dennis & Becca Ryan, we have been able to set up a fund for speaker and workshop fees.
We are thrilled to announce that in August 2022, CAPE was awarded a grant from the Dr. Seuss Foundation to supply a library of books, technical equipment to host events, and supplies to furnish the Burros & Friends Education Center!
