“I can’t believe how easy this little guy is to live with,” says Winston’s foster mom. “He’s never met a person who doesn’t set his tail spinning with joy.”
Winston was found wandering around in the pouring rain, cold and trembling. The shelter staff at the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter where he was taken fell fast and hard for this little guy. He is close to 8 lbs of soft gentleness and affection. He’s potty and crate trained and currently lives easily with 4 other dogs, most a lot larger than he.
Winston has had a dental, a blood panel, has been neutered and microchipped. Free of red flags, his blood panel shows him to be in great health. He was estimated to be 12.
Winston is a very youthful boy. He loves long walks and trots quickly, keeping up with the big kids. He bounces happily when his person walks into the room. It would be so good for Winston to be with someone who can be with him most all the time. He loves people so much, he would not be a match for a household where everyone is away all day.
