Rusty, a Redbone Coonhound, is approximately 5 years old, neutered, has no health issues and due to family transitions, is looking for his new permanent home.
Rusty is a wonderful, noble, elegant hound dog, beautiful, super friendly & cheerful. Not at all fussy or busy, he has that wonderful hound quality of loving to run & sniff for hours, then coming home & flopping at the front door. A lovely combination of a strong, energetic dog when he's out & about who can quiet down & be a peaceful, gentle indoor dog. He loves to come indoors & curl up on his bed, or better yet, yours. There is no aggression whatsoever in Rusty. He is a young, strong dog who would like a guardian who can give him lots of exercise. Rusty is great around other dogs and horses. In fact, it would be his preference to join a family who has another dog to pal around with.
