Norman is as wonderful and silly as he looks. We’re guessing he’s some sort of terrier mix, although have joked that he’s the latest and greatest in designer breeds, a Crestypoo (Chinese Crested and poodle) because we can’t explain his amazing mohawk. He is about 3 years old and 11-12 lbs.
Norman is currently living in a foster home with 5 other dogs, mostly around his size but one old pit bull, too. His public persona with other dogs is Grumpy Gus, the crotchety old guy that lives next door, but our other foster dog (Danielle, a young, female Chihuahua) pesters and kisses and goads him until he shows his true nature and they romp and wrestle for hours. That said, he is not necessarily a dog’s dog and far prefers human love and attention to anything else. He will periodically grumble at other dogs (even his “girlfriend”, Danielle) when he is getting affection because he would very much like to have it all to himself. He rarely takes it any farther than that and when he does, it’s all bluster. His idea of heaven would have him as the only dog in the home with lots of humans to snuggle and adore. We highly doubt he would enjoy the chaos of the dog park. |

“"Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way."
