Mary was rescued off the streets of Sacramento by two very kind women. Mary is around 12 years old and was extremely emaciated and covered in fleas. We cannot guess how long she has been surviving on her own, but now that she is a CAPE dog, we are honored to provide her with the best life any dog could wish for. Hospice will be her spice of life We invite you to follow Mary's journey through the rest of her life by visiting the CAPE blog. Although Mary was diagnosed with inoperable cancer, rather than mourn the short time we will have with her, we at CAPE plan to celebrate each moment. Everyday will bring Mary enjoyment: yummy meals, delicious treats, fluffy beds, walks through the sanctuary and plenty of love.
