We are sad to report that Lulu passed away.  She was a sweet, timid goat whose best friend was Lucy. They lived at the CAPE Animal Sanctuary since 2005.  Two weeks after Lulu passed away, her best friend Lucy joined her.
​We will miss them both.

​Lulu was brought to an animal shelter where she spent many weeks alone and frightened.  No one expressed any interest in the small, black goat cowering in her corner.  So CAPE brought her to our animal sanctuary where she has found a forever friend - Lucy.  The two goats are never far apart from each other.  Lulu is still extremely afraid of humans but with room to roam with Lucy, Lulu has found happiness.
