Luka was found as a stray and brought to the Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento. When CAPE staff spotted Luka, she was in a kennel by herself. One CAPE staff person said, "She was sitting so regally with a thoughtful, calm expression on her face. Visitors to the shelter had gathered around the kennel next to hers, admiring several cute, small dogs. We knew we could take Luka that day and give her a future."
Luka was transported to Muttopia in Santa Rosa where she recovered from kennel cough. She is now in a foster home in Menlo Park.
She is a spayed tan German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix who weighs around 65 lbs. She is mellow, loves to give kisses and knows how to ride well in a car.
