Judy is an 18 lb., female, brown terrier mix who was found as a stray and brought to the Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento. When CAPE staff met her, Judy was suffering from an advanced flea allergy around her tail and hind end. CAPE staff spoke with our veterinarian who gave us a course of treatment plan. We knew that we could make Judy feel much better and find her a forever home.
Judy was transported to Muttopia where she is receiving anti-fungal bubble baths and is now on a flea medication. Judy is a loving, lap-girl who will be ready for adoption in a few weeks. She is also recovering from kennel cough, but with her shiny red coat and bright brown eyes, she looks like she is feeling better already.
