how athena got her sparkle back!

Mostly blind in one eye and almost deaf, covered with lumps and dry itchy skin, with foul breath, frequent seizures, arthritis and bladder control issues. You can imagine how awful she must have felt. She’d lost her spark. That’s how 15 year old Athena came into CAPE rescue. But those issues are not who Athena is anymore.

After a year in her Assisted Living home, with multiple trips to a variety of doctors, her foster mom’s dedication has turned Athena’s life around. Thanks to CAPE’s Assisted Living Program, Atena’s health issues have greatly improved. She’s got her glow back and she sparkles like a diamond.
