When CAPE goes on a rescue mission or visits overcrowded shelters, we usually end up taking animals who have the poorest chance of finding homes - those who are suffering from severe medical issues that leave them with a slim chance of survival, let alone a happy ending. Medical issues are expensive and often shelters don't have the financial means or the space to provide these animals with the relief and time they so desperately need.
CAPE's Animal Medical Fund allows us to treat and care for some of the most difficult cases. To heal the injured. To end the suffering. It gives us the opportunity to provide animals with forevers when their days were being counted. For Giving Tuesday this year, we are raising money to replenish our Animal Medical Fund so that our mission of helping animals with special needs can continue. Just like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is one of the biggest days of the year- except it's focused on your favorite non-profits. We are so excited to report, thanks to many generous donors, every dollar you donate towards the Animal Medical Fund for Giving Tuesday will be doubled up to $21,000. Our goal for 2020 is to raise a total of $50,000 for the Animal Medical Fund. For this Facebook #GivingTuesday campaign, we are hoping to raise $3,000. That $3,000 will be matched, getting us closer to our overall goal of raising $50,00 for our Animal Medical Fund. Please help us reach our goal and donate TODAY. Every dollar helps save lives in need! Thank you so much for your support. We will continue to share stories in the next few days of the most current animals that are receiving excellent care thanks to the Animal Medical Fund. Stay tuned! |

“"Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way."
~ Martin Luther King, Jr
