Vito is a 5 year old, neutered, Smooth Coated Italian Chihuahua/Light Brown Sicilian Terrier Mix, (okay we might be exaggerating a bit on the breed, but I bet we got your attention).
He was surrendered to the Santa Cruz shelter after being replaced by a “new” dog in the house. Vito has had some rough patches in his life, but he is ready to start a new chapter and holds no grudges.
Vito is a very confident dog despite his past. He was hit by a car a couple of years ago and received no medical attention. This has left him with some slight nerve damage in his rear left leg. His condition does not seem to bother him and it surely does not slow him down. He loves other dogs, big and small (we also hear he is quite the ladies man) and is also fine with cats. He is very content in the company of people, likes riding in the car and going for walks. He enjoys snoozing on the couch or sharing a warm sunny spot with his dog buddies.
Vito's foster parents says he is a very good companion and pack mate. He is very caring and appreciative and demands very little.
