Lucas is a charming, playful 20 pound terrier. He is approximately 1 or 2 years old and very healthy. He has a soft curly golden coat and a very expressive terrier face. He adores other dogs and always displays appropriate behaviors when meeting them and playing with them. He's clearly had some challenging experiences with humans, so it takes a little time for him to trust that he will be treated kindly. Once he's sure of that, he's very physically affectionate and particularly enjoys cuddling on the couch and playing with toys. In the short time he's been in foster care he's learned to sit and come and reliably do his business outside. He also walks well on a leash. Every day he becomes more confident and exuberant. Whoever adopts Lucas will be part of a wonderful unfolding of a very special personality!
